Cuatro Tolson has worked in the finance industry for over 21 years with particular focus on International private equity, investment banking and asset management. As of 2021, Cuatro has been focused on capital procurement and investment banking activities providing senior transactional advice services to corporate, institutional and family office clients. Previously, Cuatro was a regional director at Dimensional Fund Advisors, a $700B AUM asset management company founded by David Booth of the Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was responsible for product development, client services, marketing and sales focused on the global marketplace. In his role, he oversaw the creation and development of structured financial pension solutions for large corporate clients and financial advisors in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, United States, and Australia. Prior to joining Dimensional in 2010, Cuatro worked for over five years for a boutique investment bank called Integrated Finance Limited where he helped launch a startup financial service solution called SmartNest, developed by Nobel Laureate Robert C. Merton, which was purchased by Dimensional in 2010. Previous to his employment with SmartNest which began in 1995, Cuatro worked for CableVision, S.A., a portfolio company of private equity firm Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cuatro worked in Argentina for over four years before returning to the United States to complete his master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Spanish and The Americas. Cuatro holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin in business economics and Spanish, and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with a focus on Spanish and the Southern Cone.
