Jim brings over 25 years of Tech M&A experience to clients as a client-driven investment banker, former corporate growth executive and business lawyer. Jim has focused his 23 year investment banking career primarily on Enterprise Software and Data Processing in the FinTech, HCIT, Government, and Legal Tech Sectors. He has completed more than 70 M&A and capital raising transactions for growth companies, and has successfully closed sell-side and buy-side engagements for leading private equity firms including Edison Partners, Harbourvest, Parthenon Capital and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. Jim started his investment banking career at Montgomery Securities/Bank of America in their Boston office. Prior to that, Jim was Vice President of Corporate Development at ACS (later sold to Xerox and now Conduent), a leading payment processing, technology outsourcing and information storage company. Before ACS, Jim was an M&A attorney at Kirkland & Ellis as well as WilmerHale. Before law school Jim was an Associate at Citicorp Leveraged Capital in Dallas. Jim holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Boston University with honors, an M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin where he was a Sord Scholar and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
