Bio

Robert “Bob” Eide founded Aegis Capital Corp. in 1984 and is currently the CEO and Chairman. In addition to his responsibilities at Aegis, Bob is an independent director of Nathan's Famous Inc. where he serves on the company’s compensation and audit committees. Previously, Bob served as a director of Vector Group Ltd. and VGR Holding, Inc., from November 1993 until November 2011 and as a director of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services, Inc., an investment banking and brokerage firm from 2001 until September 2011. Bob obtained his BA from State University of New York Geneseo, his JD from Albany Law School and his Master of Law in Taxation from Georgetown University. Bob has been a member of the New York State Bar Association since 1979.
