John O’Reilly Bio

John is a Partner in the Boston Office, and leads the firm’s Transactions and Private Equity practices. He holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School, and B.A. and M.A. degrees from Cambridge University. John also served on the Harvard Business School faculty as a Research Associate, and has been an author and contributor to published HBS case studies. John has over 25 years of consulting experience, including working as a consultant with Bain & Company, and as Managing Director with Knightsbridge Associates. Prior to Alliance, John’s industry experience includes working as Vice President, Marketing for General Cinema, where he managed field marketing, and as a Media Executive for the Benton & Bowles advertising agency, covering major consumer household brands and beverages.
