Bio

Steve is a co-founding partner of W Capital Partners. He brings over 35 years of experience in investment banking and principal investments to the firm. Prior to the founding of W Capital in 2001, Steve headed Paine Webber’s Asia investment banking division in Tokyo, held senior roles at CRT Capital Group, founded Water Capital Management and was a Managing Director at First Chicago and at Bank of America where he specialized in tax-structured domestic and international principal investments for the parent corporations. Steve has extensive board experience having served on the boards of many companies, both public and private. He is a member of the board of directors of The Legacy Companies and is a board observer at Inspirato, LLC. He is a member of the Hubbard Council of the National Geographic Society and is a member of the board of the Aspen Fire Protection District. Steve holds a MM from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS in Finance from Indiana University.
