Kate joined Rockwood's Cleveland office in 2015 and focuses on business development. Prior to joining Rockwood, she was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at SIFCO Industries, Inc., a publically traded manufacturing company focused on the aerospace and energy industries. Prior to SIFCO, Kate was Managing Director at Greenstar Capital, LLC, a private equity firm that invests in lower-middle market companies and provides management consulting services. She was also Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning and Manager of Finance at Argo-Tech Corporation, a leading maker of aerospace engine fuel pumps and systems, airframe fuel pumps and systems, and ground fueling equipment for commercial and military aerospace markets before it was acquired by Eaton Corporation. Kate started her career with Morningside Ventures. Kate holds an MBA from The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in economics from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College. She lives in Cleveland with her husband, daughter, and two stepsons. Kate tends to volunteer her time with organizations dedicated to women and education. She was Co-chair of the American Heart Association’s Circle of Red/Men Go Red committee, has served on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Santa Barbara, was on the Alumni Board at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and is an active supporter of the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara and Girls, Inc.
