Ian Marcus, Vice President and Principal, is responsible for deal origination, evaluation, structuring, and execution. Prior to joining NEC, Ian was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley & Co. on the Solar Desk within its Commodities Division. While at Morgan Stanley, Ian principally invested in solar projects in the residential, commercial, community, and utility sectors. Prior to his tenure at Morgan Stanley, Ian worked in project finance in the Residential and Small Commercial business unit at SunEdison. Before SunEdison, Ian worked on project and corporate analysis at Solar Power Partners. Ian started his career within the Cleantech Group at GCA Savvian Advisors focusing on mergers and acquisitions advisory and private placements. Ian is a graduate of Dartmouth College (BA in Economics).
