Ottavio Serena di Lapigio is a Managing Director of Lincolnshire and is on the Origination Team. He has been responsible for a variety of deals, such as Fabbri, True Temper, Prince, Aerosim, and American Coach Lines, as well as assisting on acquisitions and divestiture of portfolio companies. With Ottavio’s strong ties to Europe, he has helped develop the firm’s international reach, which resulted in several acquisitions abroad. Ottavio has over 25 years of experience in investing and arranging leveraged acquisitions as a principal investor, institutional sponsor and fiduciary. Prior to joining Lincolnshire in 2003, he was involved in buyouts with Citicorp Venture Capital, mainly in commercial and investment banking, including Bankers Trust Company and J.P. Morgan & Co. Ottavio graduated from Universita’ degli Studi di Roma. He is fluent in several languages: Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Ottavio served as a second lieutenant in the Carabineri division of the Italian armed forces. Outside of work, Ottavio is a passionate commercial certified active pilot, and loves to sail, hunt, bike and ski. He travels frequently, primarily to Europe.
