Naohito Yamashita's responsibilities include origination, execution, monitoring, and exiting. Mr. Yamashita's supervising investments include Periplus, Itty, ASIRO, NHS, Primagest and Three Arrows. Prior to joining J-STAR, Mr. Yamashita worked at Mizuho Securities' investment banking division, sourcing and executing M&A deals in the TMT sectors. His experience at Mizuho includes a major Japanese telecom company's acquisition of a major US peer, reorganization of the domestic telecom industry, the selling of a non-core division within a major domestic manufacturer, and MBO of a media company by a major domestic buyout fund, and a merger between two major domestic IT companies. Mr. Yamashita received a master of science degree from the University of Tokyo and a bachelor's degree from Ibaraki University.
