Bio

Wooseok joined ICG in 2013 as Head of Korea - Equity & Mezzanine, focusing on Korea, Greater China and the education sector, and was appointed Head of Asia-Pacific Corporate in 2018. Wooseok oversees assets across the whole of the Asia Pacific region and is a member of the Asia Pacific Investment Committee. He also sits on the board of several portfolio asset companies. Prior to joining ICG, Wooseok led acquisitions of industry leading companies across the Asia Pacific region. Most recently he was a Director with Providence Equity Partners in Hong Kong for three years. He started his career in private equity at Affinity Equity Partners in Seoul in 2004 where he spent five years, prior to which he was an analyst at Morgan Stanley in corporate finance for three years. Wooseok holds a BA in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
