Mark Jennings is a Co-Founder and has been a Managing Partner of Generation Partners since 1996 and operates out of the firm’s Austin office. Prior to that time, Mark was a Partner of Centre Partners, a private equity firm affiliated with Lazard Freres & Co, from 1987 to 1996, and prior to that, he worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1986 to 1987. Mark currently serves on the board of directors of several Generation portfolio companies and has previously served on the boards of directors of many other private or publicly traded companies. Mark is also a founding board member of Musician Treatment Foundation – a charitable organization that provides surgical care to professional musicians. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
