Bob is an Operating Partner at Frontier working with our companies to create and deliver key value creation initiatives. This can include everything from sharpening their go-to-market strategies and putting in place sustainable sales and marketing functions to building out leadership teams and preparing businesses for exit. He loves the pace and variety of the growth equity business. In today’s SaaS companies, speed matters. A lot. If a firm is to become a leader in its market, it’s critical to figure things out quickly and execute on the plays that will make a real impact. Importantly, as Bob’s sees it, it’s about building on the strengths a business already has. So he approaches every new firm with zero assumptions and wide open ears. It means he can take a more objective view, helping to unlock new opportunities for transformational growth. Living just five blocks from Lake Michigan, when he’s not working, you’ll find Bob carving up the water on his windsurf board (until winter forces him off the water and up into the Rockies to hit the powder).
