Mr. Koo has over twenty years of experience primarily in senior management roles at small companies. Mr. Koo also has experience in small company investing and management consulting. Prior to forming Foghorn Capital, Mr. Koo was a Managing Director at Leader Ventures, a venture debt fund. Previously, Mr. Koo held CEO, CFO and COO positions with several small to mid-sized companies. He was the CFO and CEO of Blaze Entertainment, a mobile games publisher, and orchestrated the sale of the company to Oberon Media. Mr. Koo was also the CFO and COO of Everypath, Inc., a software company that sold mobile applications in the medical device industry. Prior to Everypath, Mr. Koo worked for Trident Capital, a private equity and venture capital firm, where he helped source deals and perform due diligence. Mr. Koo was the CFO of CBCA, Inc. a health care services company that performed claims processing, policy administration and care management for self insured companies. Before that, Mr. Koo was the CFO and CEO of CAT Technology, a systems integrator that provided managed services. Mr. Koo was a founder and Director of NoInk Communications, which was acquired by GHX, a company owned by a consortium of the world's largest medical device manufacturers. Mr. Koo graduated Cum Laude from University of California, San Diego and also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
