Kai is one of the most experienced and successful investment professionals in German midsized companies, boasting 19 years of relevant experience. He served ten years with Industrie Management Munich (after a reverse take-over as Triumph-Adler AG), one of the very first Private Equity firms in the small and midcap segment. At IMM, Kai held various roles including investment professional and operating management roles in Germany and France; he left as a Partner, in charge of one of TA's business divisions. Subsequently, Kai built up the Riverside Company's German office, the largest global player in small cap private equity, which turned out to be their most successful European office. Kai left Riverside as a Managing Partner, in charge of the DACH and CEE regions. Kai holds a Master's Degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
