Bio

Michael joined Eastward in 2004 and oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations including all finance functions and limited partner relations. Michael has over 15 years of experience working in the alternative investment industry. Firms which Michael has worked at have raised over $2 billion in limited partner commitments. Michael previously was the founding Chief Financial Officer at Great Hill Partners. In addition, Michael has held senior financial positions at a variety of companies including TSDesign (sold to RazorFish), Facilities Resource Management and Carvel Ice Cream. Michael is a board member at Financial Executives Alliance and the Chairman of the Membership Committee at Kernwood Country Club. In addition, Michael was a founding board member of the Private Equity CFO Association and the Hedge Fund CFO Association. Michael is a graduate of Babson College.
