Paul joined Denargo in January of 2005. Paul has been active in the private equity market since the early 1990s as a Principal at Hanifen Imhoff Mezzanine Fund, a $60 million fund, and as a General Partner at Rocky Mountain Mezzanine Fund, a $120 million private equity mezzanine fund serving the lower middle market. Paul has extensive experience in senior and mezzanine debt transactions and has been directly involved in the origination, pricing, credit evaluation and documentation of these activities. The transactions have involved a cross-section of financings and a broad range of industries. Prior to joining Rocky Mountain Capital, Mr. Lyons provided investment-banking services to companies in the Rocky Mountain region as a consultant and as Manager of the Corporate Finance Department for the Denver Office of Kirkpatrick Pettis. Previously, Mr. Lyons was associated with Mitsubishi Trust where as Executive Vice President of the bank he developed and managed its merchant banking activity. He began his career at Irving Trust Company in New York where he worked for 15 years in commercial banking, rising to a senior management position within the large corporate banking division of the bank. Paul received a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Paul is an owner of Denargo Capital.
