Ryan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s strategic growth initiatives as Managing Director of Business Development. Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Ryan spent 11 years in the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, where he and his team managed over $16B for ultra-high net worth families and institutions. Having assisted numerous clients through successful exits of their businesses, he developed a unique understanding of the needs of business owners and their families – including wealth transfer and intergenerational dynamics – and possesses a deep knowledge of capital markets. Ryan is a graduate of Amherst College where he double majored in Political Science and Sociology. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles.
