Zach Hagan has more than eight years of diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Zach is responsible for CoveMark’s back office operations. He is also involved in the selection and management of CoveMark’s investment portfolio. He performs due diligence and participates in the evaluation of potential investment opportunities. He leads asset management for multiple CoveMark funds, including those focused on agriculture, energy, or technology. His expertise includes acquisitions and divestitures, information systems technology, petroleum land management, livestock management, and other agriculture-related fields for CoveMark. Zach’s background is comprised of development, implementation, and maintenance of databases; information technology infrastructure; and multi-language computer coding; administrative support for company directors; and management of oil and gas projects in major exploration plays throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Zach grew up in rural Oklahoma, where ranching and farming were a part of everyday life. From an early age, he was involved in a variety of agriculture-related matters and was a longtime participant in 4-H and his high school education included specialized studies in agriculture and zoology. Zach went on to study economics, finance, and computer programming at the University of Oklahoma. He resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
