Prior to joining Coridel, Mr. Kyim ran the Equity Special Situations team at Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong, and managed several hundred million USD on behalf of the bank in Pan-Asian investments. Prior to that, he was Head Trader for Morgan Stanley’s Special Situations Fund III which invested US$2bn in pre-IPO private equity investments in Asia as well as several hundred million in public securities, credit, mezzanine, and real estate investments. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Kyim worked at Lehman Brothers, where he was involved in the bank’s principal transactions in Asia-Pacific, with a realized IRR of over 30% on invested capital of US$2 billion. Mr. Kyim has 22 years of work experience both as an investment professional and also experience as a Management Consultant from Booz Allen Hamilton. Mr. Kyim holds a BA from Harvard College and also earned an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
