Bio

Tom is a Senior Partner and serves as a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and the investment committee for Comvest’s private equity and special opportunities strategies. He has led investments in sectors including retail and consumer, and related business services. Tom is responsible for all key aspects of the investment process from deal execution to portfolio company oversight. Prior to joining Comvest, Tom was a Principal on the Retail & Consumer team at Apax Partners, where he both led and participated in a number of key deals. Prior to Apax Partners, he spent 10 years on Bain Capital’s private equity team, most recently as a Principal. Tom began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Tom received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and pursued graduate-level coursework at The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
