Phillip joined Cobalt Ventures in 2017 as Director of Finance. Prior to Cobalt, he was a Vice President with Petro Capital Securities, a boutique oil and gas-focused investment bank in Dallas, TX. While at Petro Capital, Phillip focused primarily on origination and execution of mergers, acquisitions and private placement transactions. Prior to Petro Capital, Phillip began his career within the investment banking group of Southwest Securities (now, Hilltop Securities), also based in Dallas, TX. He currently serves as an observing Board member for Rx Savings Solutions, a Cobalt Ventures portfolio company. Phillip earned a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Kansas.
