Hamilton Tang is a Managing Director of CDIB Capital. Prior to joining he served as the group Chief Executive Officer of Simon Murray & Company and Managing Partner of SMC Capital China (“SMC”), a Greater China focused investment management firm in private equity, long only funds, hedge funds, fixed income, and other direct investments. Prior to that, his background includes appointments as co-CEO of UA Cinema (Hong Kong) and Vice President at Morgan Stanley investment banking division in New York and Hong Kong. He received a JD-MBA from Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School, and an undergraduate degree from Harvard College.
