Ollie Maggard, co-founder, Managing Partner, and Investment Committee Member at Caymus Equity, has more than 34 years of private equity investing, sales and marketing, and financial experience focused on the lower-middle market. Ollie sets the firm’s strategic direction and oversees the investment and portfolio management activities of the firm. Prior to joining Caymus Partners, Ollie spent seven years as a Partner of Regent Capital Partners, a private equity firm that was focused primarily on lower middle market companies in the consumer and business services industries. Ollie served on the board of several of those companies and was instrumental in assisting those companies in achieving their goals. One of Ollie's primary investments was Buffalo Wild Wings. During his investment period, Ollie was instrumental as an investor and board member in assisting the management team in growing revenues from $34 million to almost $130 million and a successful IPO and exit. Ollie remained an active board member for another 14 years, departing when the company's total market capitalization was over $3 billion. Prior to Regent, Ollie was with several major investment banking firms, including Kidder Peabody & Co., Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, and E. F. Hutton & Co. Ollie’s industry experience includes business services, niche manufacturing, and consumer, including restaurants and retail.
