Maxence joined CAPZA in 2005 as an associate, after gaining initial experience in the Finance Department of Cascade Direct Inc, in Portland (USA). He was quickly promoted to the rank of Principal in 2013, Director in 2014 and Partner in 2016. Until 2021, Maxence was co-Head of Flex Equity France at CAPZA where he had a leading role in originating, executing and monitoring Flex Equity investments, overseeing an investment team of 13 people. He was instrumental in building the Flex Equity Franchise in 2016, which offers flexible financing solutions combining majority or minority capital, convertible bonds and mezzanine debt to support small and mid-cap companies. He has originated and executed a dozen transactions over the past 5 years. Maxence has built a strong franchise in the small and mid-cap market in France and a deep expertise in tech (software and services) with deals such as Talan, Questel or Geodesial.
