Bio

As a founding member of Bruin, he played a critical role in the company’s fundraising and subsequent financial growth. He plays an integral role in all of Bruin’s acquisitions and continues to shape and execute Bruin’s strategy of identifying, acquiring, and growing under-developed businesses. Today, the Bruin portfolio spans 29 offices in nine countries with 1,200 personnel. Since launch, it has completed 18 acquisitions and led the early-stage funding of 21 technology ventures with follow-on rounds to 19. In recognition of this work and his leadership, Roth was named to Sports Business Journal’s prestigious 40-Under-40 list as well as Leaders 40 list of the sports industry’s best young talent in the world. Before Bruin, Roth was a Vice President at Allen & Company, where he advised both large and small-cap media, entertainment, technology, and sports clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic initiatives. Roth began his career in the TMT investment banking group at Citigroup. Roth holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He currently lives in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, with his wife and two daughters.
