Bio

Mr. Hernon has been a Partner at Boston Millennia Partners since its founding in 1997. Mr. Hernon was formerly a Principal at a predecessor firm to BMP. Previously, he was Assistant General Counsel for Lifetime Corporation (formerly, NYSE: LFT), an alternate site healthcare services business, where he was responsible for securities law matters and for mergers and acquisitions, and was a corporate attorney at Warner & Stackpole (now Kirkpatrick & Lockhart), where he focused on working with emerging growth companies. He is, or previously was, a Director of Child Health Systems, a pediatric healthcare services company; Deltagen, a public provider of drug development tools and services to the biopharmaceutical industry; Infotrieve, a provider of information services for the life sciences and other R&D intensive industries; Nexidia, a leading speech analytics company (acquired by NICE Systems (Nasdaq: NICE)); and Odyssey Logistics & Technology, a global logistics solutions provider with an over $2 billion freight network which was acquired by The Jordan Company in October 2017 for $643 million. He is also responsible for a number of portfolio-wide investment management functions, including deal negotiation and structuring. He has more than 25 years of legal and business experience structuring and negotiating private equity investments and working with portfolio companies. He has led or participated in the structuring of more than 160 venture capital investments and more than 50 merger and acquisition transactions. Hernon holds a BA from Boston College, an MA in Economics from the University of Maryland, and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
