Mr. McBride is a founding partner of Blue Sage Capital. Prior to forming Blue Sage in 2002, Mr. McBride spent over a decade as the senior, non-family executive of The LBJ Holding Company, a private investment holding company of the family of Lyndon and Lady Bird Johnson. Mr. McBride currently chairs the Board of Directors for C&M Conveyor, Marine Accessories Corporation, Timber Automation LLC (d/b/a Baxley-LogPro), and Broken Arrow Communications and serves as a director of Cobalt Environmental Solutions. He is an advisory director for Frost Bank Austin and serves on the University of Texas McCombs School of Business Advisory Council, the McCombs School of Business Foundation Board, and on the Investments Committee of the Texas Exes Endowment. He is the past president of Caritas of Austin, a 50-year-old non-profit fighting poverty and homelessness in Central Texas and currently serves on its Community Advisory Board. Mr. McBride is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church-USA. Mr. McBride received his BBA in Finance (1982) and his MBA (1990) from The University of Texas at Austin.
