Bio

Ms. Amato is the Chief Financial Officer of Ara Partners. Prior to Ara Partners, Heather served as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Rock Hill Capital Group, a private equity firm which focused on small to lower middle market companies and specialized in industrial products and oil field services. Prior to joining Rock Hill, Ms. Amato served as Vice President of Wealth Management Group at Kanaly Trust and as a Tax Manager for Margolis, Phipps & Wright, PC. She began her career at Arthur Andersen, PC in 1997. Ms. Amato received a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Public Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas. Ms. Amato is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Association for Corporate Growth and Private Equity CFO Association.
