Bio

Mr. Carrillo has 10 years of experience in investment management, M&A, strategy consultancy, and private equity in Latin America. Prior to joining Altra in 2007, Mr. Carrillo worked as an M&A Senior Analyst at CEET, a leading Latin American media conglomerate with controlling interests in other sectors such as entertainment, telecommunications, and real state. In this capacity, he participated in the divestiture of non-core portfolio companies and in the expansion and consolidation of core businesses. Mr. Carrillo also served on the Executive and Operating Boards of a number of portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Carrillo worked for three years as a strategy consultant on development projects in Colombia. He holds an MBA with great distinction from HEC Montreal and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá.
