Mark heads Allstate Investments’ public assets and global research and strategy groups. He oversees all public fixed-income and equity strategies, as well as tactical asset allocation. Allstate's public fixed-income portfolio includes allocations to corporate debt (investment grade and high yield), municipal debt (taxable and tax exempt), mortgage, asset-backed securities, emerging markets/foreign, government/agency, bank loan and collateralized loan obligations. Equity strategy includes domestic, developed foreign and emerging market exposures managed both internally and externally. Portfolio strategies vary across life, property-casualty, pension and collateralized loan obligation client mandates. Mark joined Allstate in 2001 as a senior portfolio manager in the credit group and has taken on roles of increasing responsibility. He has more than 30 years of experience managing portfolios for mutual fund, pension, endowment and insurance clients. He has both an MBA and bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a chartered financial analyst.
