Doug spent 18 years as an investment banker in the corporate finance departments of Blyth Eastman Dillon, Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers. He has extensive experience in asset-based financings, initial public offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions, most notably in the industrial, energy and telecommunications sectors. During the last eight years, he built a successful financial advisory business specializing in capital structuring, strategic planning and acquisitions for small and medium-sized businesses. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and received his MBA from the University of Virginia.? Doug was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy.
