Chris Jones is one of the co-founders of Align Capital Partners, a growth oriented private equity firm founded in 2016 based in Cleveland, Ohio, and Dallas, Texas. ACP is currently investing out of a $325 million inaugural fund. Chris serves on the board of directors of Alliance Source Testing, ACP’s first platform investment. Prior to founding ACP, Chris was a Partner at The Riverside Company. During his more than 13 years at Riverside, Chris participated in 45 acquisitions and sale transactions totaling $2.8 billion of value. Chris joined Riverside in 2003 and his strong performance at the firm earned him a series of promotions, culminating in his rise to Partner in the firm in 2011. As a Partner, Chris led Riverside’s investments in five platform companies representing $1.0 billion of enterprise value. Prior to Riverside, Chris worked for Chicago-based private equity firm Keystone Capital, and prior to that obtained early mergers and acquisitions experience in National City Corporation’s Investment Banking Group and as a CPA at Ernst & Young. He holds a BS in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
