Mosquito Coil Group (MCG)


MCG started in 1984 when the Salim Group established PT Sinar Plataco, and presently the MCG consists of 5 companies namely PT Sinar Plataco, PT Menara Kaloka, PT Chandra Mulia Permai, PT Perkasa Mostindo Utama and PT Oborjaya Abadi. They are principally engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of mosquito coils and the related milling of raw materials. MCG is one of the largest producer of mosquito coils in the world and in 1999 had a domestic Indonesian market share of approximately 59%.

Mosquito Coil Group was acquired by Reckitt Benckiser on November 27, 2000.
