MCC Control Systems is a control systems integrator, primarily servicing customers in the water and wastewater industry. The owner and manager of the Company was looking for a financial partner to help grow the business, while diversifying his net worth. In November 2006, Caltius Equity Partners acquired substantially all of the assets of the Company. Caltius was attracted to MCC's strong operating performance, emphasis on high-quality service and impressive industry reputation. MCC provides the design and assembly of the electronic control systems required to run water and wastewater treatment facilities and infrastructure. The Company utilizes specialized engineers to meet the varying needs of its customers, supplementing this expertise with the latest software and electronic equipment. Since closing, Caltius has hired David Bell, former President and COO of leading environmental testing services companies TestAmerica Environmental Services and TestAmerica Drilling Services to serve as the new CEO of MCC. Tom Meyer, the Company's founder, is staying on with MCC as its President. In addition, Caltius has introduced the Company to a general contractor in Southern California which has the potential to become one of MCC's largest customers. Caltius has also created a board of directors comprised of general contracting and finance professionals to further improve MCC's operations. Caltius and management are actively seeking to grow the company through acquisitions of complementary control systems integrators.
