Bio

Rachel Rivkind is a Partner in Rubin and Rudman’s Boston office and a member of the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Real Estate practice groups. Rachel concentrates her practice on commercial lending and secured and cross-border transactions. Rachel has extensive experience representing lenders, borrowers and sponsors in all aspects of commercial lending and secured transactions, including asset-based financing, middle market lending, private client and cross-border financing, real estate lending, acquisition financing and syndicated credit arrangements. She is also experienced in representing corporate clients and non-profit organizations on various corporate and transactional matters. In joining the firm, Rachel returns to her Boston roots after beginning her career New York City, where she most recently was Associate General Counsel and the sole transactional attorney at a multi-billion dollar U.S. subsidiary of one of Israel’s leading commercial and private banks. Prior to going in-house, Rachel worked at several leading international law firms. Her past representations include clients in a wide array of industries such as alternative energy, apparel, communications and technology, defense, gaming, food and beverages, hospitality, distribution and manufacturing, communications and technology. Rachel has advised companies and private individuals based in the U.S. and abroad, and her client base ranges from families and small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Rachel’s commercial lending experience includes structuring and negotiating senior and subordinated debt, asset-based facilities, working capital facilities, syndication and participation arrangements, real estate finance and various industry-specific financing structures. Rachel has also represented lenders in the enforcement and protection of their interests in the legal process, including foreclosure, forbearance agreements, title claims and loan modifications. Additionally, Rachel has a background in real estate and corporate matters, including acquisition and sale of businesses and assets, corporate formation and governance, non-profit formation, leasing, franchise and management agreements, vendor contracts, factoring and supply chain arrangements, as well as operational risk management.
