Gabriel Sanchez is a partner at Posse Herrera Ruiz, his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and he has extensive experience in social matters. Before joining Posse Herrera Ruiz in 2008, Gabriel was a lawyer in the legal department of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. Gabriel was an international intern in the New York office of Debevoise and Plimpton LLP between 2012 and 2013, in the financial law and mergers and acquisitions departments, where he was involved in several project finance transactions, representing investors and insurers in Infrastructure projects in Latin America and mergers and acquisitions in Colombia. He has participated in numerous successful transactions, both local and cross-border, representing buyers and sellers. He has advised clients on corporate matters such as corporate governance, boards of directors, conflicts of interest, contracts, disputes between partners and shareholder agreements, among others. He is a lawyer from the Javeriana University (2004), has a specialization in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes (2007) and a specialization in corporate law from the Javeriana University (2009). Gabriel has been a professor specializing in company law at the Javeriana University.
