J. Daniel Holsenback, Esq. brings over 25 years of legal experience as a civil trial lawyer and in-house counsel to his practice. Mr. Holsenback is experienced in mediating disputes in areas ranging from real estate to intellectual property, business and insurance disputes, and personal injury. A Gray Cary-trained, AV-rated attorney, Mr. Holsenback has tried more than thirty cases before juries, judges, and arbitrators, with representation equally split between plaintiff and defense. The subject matter of those cases included assault, contracts, construction defects, copyright infringement, employment, fiduciary duties, fraud, legal malpractice, negligence, personal injury, premises liability, real estate, shareholder dissolution, trademark infringement, trade secrets, and unfair competition. In addition to his time as a trial lawyer, Mr. Holsenback served as general counsel for a software company and a real estate investment company. Mr. Holsenback is a former Vice-President and Director of the San Diego County Bar Association and a five-time member of the San Diego delegation to the annual California State Bar Conference of Delegates. He also served as a member of the Greater North Park Community Planning Committee and as President and Director of Sushi Performance & Visual Art. He presently coaches baseball for Solana Beach Little League. Mr. Holsenback has had a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating since 1999, and he is a certified member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He won the 2002 Silver-Tongue Extemporaneous Speaking Competition.
