James O’Mahony Bio

James has extensive experience over ~15 years across investment, corporate finance, and corporate law, and has been a key member of Viburnum’s private equity team since 2014. Prior to joining Viburnum, James worked in investment banking with Credit Suisse in Melbourne and Sydney, advising primarily ASX 200 and major private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt raisings and strategic reviews. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, James was a Senior Associate with Norton Rose, working in both Perth and Sydney, advising on M&A and ECM transactions. James completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Western Australia, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance & Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
