Shamit Grover Bio

Shamit is the Chief Executive Officer of Vesper Company. Previously he was a managing director in the Private Capital Group of MSD Partners where he led or supported the firm’s investments across media, tech-enabled, business, and financial services. While at MSD, Shamit worked with David on several of MSD's investments in Vesper Company's target verticals: OneWest Bank, Kobalt Music, Transaction Network Services, Owl Rock (now Blue Owl), WCG Clinical, and Ultimate Fighting Championship. Prior to joining MSD Capital, Shamit was at Merrill Lynch, where he worked in the global private equity and mergers and acquisitions groups. He received his B.S. from Harvey Mudd College (double major in engineering and economics at CMC). He currently serves as a trustee of Harvey Mudd College, a member of the investment committee of Claremont Investment Management Company, and a trustee of Waynflete School.
