Dr. Haitao Zhang is the Vice Chairman and President of CITIC Capital Holdings Limited. He is also the Head of CITIC Capital Asset Management. Dr. Zhang has over 20 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining the company in 2002, he was the Chief Investment Officer at China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE), managing the country's foreign exchange reserves. Dr. Zhang received a Ph.D. in Finance from the People's University of China, Beijing.
