Guillaume Bayol is a Partner of Trilantic Europe and head of Energy Transition Investments (ETI). Prior to joining the firm, Guillaume spent 16 years at Oaktree Capital Management where he last served as Managing Director in the GFI Energy Group, a thematic private equity strategy specialised in investing in the power, water and other energy supply chains. Prior to that, Guillaume was part of Oaktree’s European Principal Group, a transformational mid-market private equity strategy. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in the Corporate Finance group, gaining experience in corporate finance and restructuring. Guillaume holds an M.B.A in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School. He is fluent in French, Spanish, Italian and English.
