Joseph Knoll Bio

Mr. Knoll is a Managing Director of TowerBrook. Previously, Mr. Knoll was a Director of York Capital where he helped build the European distressed and event-driven credit business. He was Head of European Restructurings and led numerous formal and informal credit committees on behalf of York and other creditors. Mr. Knoll also sat on numerous Boards, both Public and Private, on behalf of York. Prior to joining York in 2008, he was the founding member of the Principal Investing Group of Morgan Stanley based in London and New York. Mr. Knoll started his career at Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banker in the leveraged finance team in New York and earned his B.S. from Yeshiva University. Mr. Knoll is a Trustee of City Year UK and a member of the Advisory Council of Black Women in Asset Management.
