Joshua Shapiro Bio

Joshua Shapiro is the Chief Compliance Officer for Blackstone’s Tactical Opportunities and Growth groups as well as the Chief Compliance Officer for Blackstone Private Equity Strategies (BXPE). Before joining Blackstone in 2018, Mr. Shapiro was the Head of Compliance (Americas) at PineBridge Investments, the Chief Compliance Officer at BTG Pactual Asset Management US, and an associate attorney at Talpion Fund Management. Mr. Shapiro received his JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
