Steve Hassmann Bio

Steve Hassmann is a co-founder of Texas Next Capital and its affiliate, Acacia Capital Fund. Steve has three decades of investment banking, private equity and financial experience based in Chicago, New York and San Antonio, working for Acacia Capital; Weatherly Private Capital; Chase Mergers & Acquisitions Group; Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co; and, Dawson Enterprises, which owned Alamo Rent-a-Car and was one of the largest automobile retail dealer groups in the U.S. Steve earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Accounting summa cum laude from Oklahoma Christian University. He has passed the CPA, Series 7 and Series 63 exams.
