Charles Santoro Bio

Charles Santoro, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, shares the management and control of the Firm's affairs. Charles currently serves as Chairman of the board for Mr. Greens, Camp, and Xylem Kendall. He was formerly Chairman of All My Sons, American West Restaurant Group, HeartLand, Lipari Foods, Excelligence Learning, FCX Performance, Fairway Group Holdings, US Maintenance, and co-Chairman of Lazer Spot. He is also a past Director of Interline Brands, Opinionology, Survey Sampling International, Washington Inventory Service, and Western Wats. Prior to Sterling Investment Partners, Charles served as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at PaineWebber. Prior to that, Charles was a Managing Director, Member of the Operating Committee, and Head of the Multi-Industry and New Business Development Groups at Smith Barney. He was previously responsible for Smith Barney’s cross border and international investment banking activities in New York and London, serving on its International Board of Directors. Previously, Charles served as the Operations Officer of European M&A at Morgan Stanley in London and was a Vice President of M&A at Morgan Stanley in New York and London. Charles earned a B.A. from Columbia University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
