Daniel Choi Bio

Daniel Choi is a Director in Global Capital Raising and Investor Relations at Starwood Capital Group. In this role, he is responsible for raising capital in Asia on behalf of the Firm’s private investment funds and co-investments. Prior to joining Starwood Capital in 2021, Mr. Choi was a Partner at The Townsend Group. He spent eight years at Townsend’s private equity real estate group, where he was responsible for discretionary portfolio management, investment underwriting, due diligence, and business development in the Asia Pacific region. Before that, he was an equity sales associate at CLSA. He began his career in a finance division at Hyundai Corporation as a junior analyst. Mr. Choi received a B.A. degree in economics and theology from Yonsei University.
