James Rikkers Bio

Jim joined Spell Capital in 2005 and has significant experience in all aspects of private equity buyout investing. Mr. Rikkers has been involved in the financing of mergers and acquisitions for over 25 years and has been investing as a principal for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Spell Capital, Jim was a Vice President with the Mezzanine Capital group of Wells Fargo where he was active in deal origination, structuring and portfolio investment management. Before that he played key roles in a variety of Wells Fargo’s leveraged lending units. He has also served on the board of directors of several private companies. Jim has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
