Matt Taylor Bio

Matt founded Rockpool in 2011. He leads the firm as Managing Partner and is a member of Investment Committee. He has been investing in private companies for over 30 years. Matt spent nine years as a private equity investor at 3i, during its time as the dominant player in the UK. At Foresight, Matt was a member of investment committee for 11 years, and held key roles in investment management and fund marketing. He has also worked in corporate finance with Morgan Stanley and commercial banking with IKB Deutsche Industriebank. Matt holds a degree in ancient history and philosophy and is the author of Voluntary Exchange, an introduction to economics.
