Christopher Kempner Bio

Mr. Kempner is a partner and the founder of Red Barn Equity Partners. Prior to founding Red Barn Equity Partners, Mr. Kempner worked as a Vice-President at Metalmark Capital, a middle market private equity firm focusing on growth industrial and health care businesses. Prior to Metalmark, Mr. Kempner worked as a generalist public markets analyst at Cramer Rosenthal Mcglynn, a leading value equity manager, and as a private equity associate at Oak Hill Capital Partners. Mr. Kempner started his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Kempner received an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with distinction from Yale University in political science.
