Magnus Christensson Bio

Magnus joined Pollen Street in 2016 as Partner, Fundraising and Investor Relations. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Magnus has extensive fundraising and IR experience having raised over USD 4 billion in his career since 1989. Prior to joining Pollen Street Capital, Magnus was previously at TPG’s Fundraising group, where he was part of the global team responsible for Europe. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Magnus served as Managing Director and Head of Europe for Jefferies Fund Placement Group. Between 2002 and 2010 he was a Partner and member of the management committee at Atlantic-Pacific Capital Inc. and in 2000, was a Principal at NM Rothschild's private equity business in London. He also has work experience as a strategy consultant from Indevo and Bain & Co. He received his BSc in Economics from the University of Uppsala, Sweden in 1989. He is also a Reserve Lieutenant in the Royal Swedish Navy. He is native in Swedish and fluent in English and German and is a member of the YPO Gold London Chapter.
